As the head of design and creative, my role is broad and always changing. I set the design direction based on our marketing plan to make sure our creative work shares our clients\\\' brands and goals effectively. This means carefully overseeing different projects\\\' operations and schedules, handling multiple client jobs while keeping quality and deadlines a priority. As a Group Art Director, you\'ll manage other designers by delegating work and providing guidance. Create an environment where people feel comfortable trying new things and ideas. Stay up to date on all design trends and best practaices.
Understand marketing plans, how the brand presents itself, and who it aims to reach. Managing schedules and workloads is crucial, so keep on top of workflow. Presenting finished designs to clients and coworkers is part of it. Taking projects from beginning to end is important in this position.
So in my last role, I was responsible for leading a design team to bring our clients\' visions to life while making sure everything aligned with their brand standards. A big part of the job was meeting with clients to brainstorm creative concepts and marketing strategies for things like their ad campaigns, trade shows, and promotional materials.
